My Journey to Natural Soap

Why I Started

During my travels in Thailand, I discovered the world of natural cosmetics, which was a revelation. I realized that the products I had been using—filled with sulfates, parabens, alcohols, and heavy perfumes—were harmful not only to the environment but also to my skin and hair. Struggling with acne, skin rashes, and thin, lifeless hair, I knew I needed a change. Despite trying various solutions, including not washing my hair and using dermatologist-recommended skincare, nothing worked.

Then, I attended a natural cosmetics workshop and a soap-making course in Thailand. These experiences, combined with my background in chemistry, gave me hope and the knowledge to create something better. Embracing natural products transformed my life: my acne diminished, my skin calmed, and my hair began to grow longer and stronger.

 

How I Make My Soap

I use the cold process method, a traditional soap-making technique. This method allows me to include only the best ingredients, such as coconut, olive, castor, and almond oils, while avoiding palm oil. Each soap bar is infused with specific herbs and essential oils chosen for their unique benefits. Transparency about what I put in the soap, for me, is very important, and I make sure to explain every ingredient and its purpose on my website.

 

What I Offer

I create handmade, organic, and natural soap bars that are as beneficial for you as they are for the environment. Each bar is meticulously formulated to leave your skin soft and hydrated, never dry. The light, natural scents come from essential oils, but I also offer a completely scentless line for those who prefer pure, additive-free soap. Additionally, I have a range of scented soaps designed for use in closets and bathrooms to freshen the air naturally.

One challenge I faced was creating a strong scent using only natural ingredients. I didn't want to use artificial perfumes, so I explored the use of essential oils. While I have achieved pleasant, natural fragrances, I am continually looking for ways to enhance these scents without compromising my values.
